Coleraine Anglers Association held its AGM at the Montra Club on Thursday 21st February and was well attended for the evening.
The club, which has been registered as a Limited Company, has excellent fishing for rainbow trout on the Dunalis Reservoir and for wild brown trout and late season salmon on the River Rhee.
The club has a healthy membership at present and the quality of the over wintered trout are fantastic quality. The committee was elected on the evening with David Harkness (chairman), Mark Henderson (secretary) and Alan Morrow (treasurer) all being re-elected and all being thanked by members
for the hard work they do for the club.
Members who have access to email are being asked to provide their email addresses to save costs of sending club newsletters.
The charity barbecue was held in August and over £400 was raised for Marie Curie. The club plan to appoint club bailiffs to protect our fishing on Dunalis and the Rhee and poaching of any kind will not be accepted with both venues being watched day and night.
