On Saturday 1st March Sika Gymnastics Club held their first Northern Ireland two piece competition since moving into their new gym – and what a success it was!

With almost 100 entrants from clubs all over Northern Ireland is was a tough competition. Sika had a strong team of 22 gymnasts, made up of 20 girls and two boys and all came away with a medal. The team picked up a whopping 14 gold medals!

“It was wonderful to see all the gymnasts’ hard work being rewarded and will hopefully give them a big boost as they go into training for the Northern Ireland 2 piece Championships held in Derry in June,” said a spokesperson for the club.

“Sika is so proud of all the gymnasts who took part and would also like to extend their thanks to all of the coaches and volunteers who made the day such a wonderful success.”
