Coleraine First XI took on Parkview on Saturday at Ballyclare High School with the local ladies hoping to continue their good form.
Having won their opening three games Coleraine began in confident mood making good passes from Sharon Kennedy and Molly Kane from the back and smart decisions.
Not long into the game Coleraine began to really test the Parkview team with shots from Zoe Campbell and Carol Anne Agnew, however to no avail with the opposition goalkeeper keeping the score level.
TheColeraine midfield began to push forward with great running from Alex Balmer to push through a good ball for Niamh Lockhart to run onto and provide a brillant cross for Sarah Harkness to get on the end of and put the away side into a 1-0 lead.
The second half started out similar to the first with great pressure with lots of possession and good running from Kelly Watt but no increase in the score line.
Ten minutes into the half Hilary Andrews drove forward to the opposition circle before passing to Sue Nutt who won a penalty flick.
Alice McGill stepped up and made it 2-0. Coleraine ladies then had an unsettled 10 minutes, trying to force passes and struggling to get out of their own half.
Quick thinking from Ciara Richmond though provided the third goal.
She took a quick free hit and found Claire Adams, who made a counter attack down the pitch to find a great run from Grace Bradley who rounded the goalkeeper to make it 3-0.
In the dying moments Coleraine conceded a penalty corner and the game ended 3-1.
This means Coleraine 1st XI continue their unbeaten start to the season having won four from four and find themselves top of the table.
