More than 30 million people worldwide will see spectacular images and footage of Northern Ireland over the coming days '“ as this year's Circuit of Ireland is now under way.

Tourism Ireland is working closely with Eurosport, to ensure images from the top sporting event are beamed across the world.

Aubrey Irwin, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Northern Ireland, said: “The Circuit of Ireland Rally is a wonderful event for Northern Ireland which appeals to a huge number of motorsports fans from across the world. It has a massive TV audience of about 30 million people worldwide, on Eurosport and other TV channels, helping to raise the profile of Northern Ireland. Our aim is to leverage the tourism benefits of this important sporting event, highlighting the excitement and atmosphere, as well as the spectacular scenery of Northern Ireland, to motorsports fans and prospective visitors everywhere.
