A PUPIL from Garvagh Primary School has finished first in the Flahavan’s Athletics NI Primary School Cross Country League.

Andrew Gordon held off stiff competition from young athletes from over 100 Primary Schools across six counties, Down, Armagh, Antrim, Tyrone, Londonderry (North West & Causeway coast) and Fermanagh to be crowned the winner.

Andrew is pictured above with Jordon Dawson and Jamie Hamilton of King’s Park Primary School in Lurgan who finished second and third. The boys are pictured at Belfast City Playing Fields in Mullusk
