The 2nd XV sees Greg Jordan return to the club from Limavady as coach and he will be assisted by clubmen Harry Tate and Ronnie Caskey.

The front row has been bolstered with the arrival of Chris Nash from Academy and James Blair from Ballymoney. School 1st XV leavers Mac O’Neil and David Greatorex also come on board after some very encouraging performances for the club at the end of last season. Timmy Lloyd and Cillian Butler also move up into the senior rugby ranks from the Club Under 18s.

The second row sees the highly rated Dalriada pairing of John Rankin and Fergal Wiseman join the club. Former Bangor player/coach Michael Ferguson joins the club after moving to the local area and will bring some important AIL experience to the squad from his time at Queens and Malone.

The back row sees former club captain Stephen Dickey return from City of Derry alongside Angus Warwicker. Former school captain Peter Bonnar joins after recovering from an ankle injury which kept him on the sidelines for the past year. Ally Corbett returns to the province and the Club Under 18 duo of James Breslin and Andy Moore are also on board.

The backline has been bolstered by the signing of the talented Rhys McAuley who returns to the province after concluding his studies in Scotland. Centre Kyle McAuley and full back Rory Strang join the club from local side Ballymoney.

The club, sponsored by ‘Cookstown’, has been hungry to get into action and that all started at the weekend with a friendly series of games against Belfast club CIYMS.
