Boys in the Coleraine Borough are being given the opportunity to play hockey following a new Talent Programme set up by Coleraine Borough Council Sports Development along with Ulster Hockey and Portrush Hockey Club.

The programme is open to any boy in Year 8 and 9 to attend a ‘Come & Try It’ session by Ulster Hockey coaches on Thursday 24 January at 4.15pm to 5.15pm at the University of Ulster Hockey Pitch (Astroturf). Following this boy’s will have the chance to take part in a six week coaching programme under the guidance of quality coaches supported by Ulster Hockey and Portrush Hockey Club.

Junior Hockey

Coleraine Hockey Club’s Junior Hockey programme starts again this Saturday 19 January at 9.30am at the University of Ulster (Tennis Courts). The programme is open to all P3 to P7 boys and girls and new members are welcome. For more information contact Heather on tel 078 0815 8898.
