Ravenhill thrill in store for Coleraine maxis

COLERAINE Rugby Club's Maxi Section has been back in action this season and is going from strength to strength.

Under the guidance of Jim Wilmont the boys have been training and playing matches as the age group shows a resurgence across the province.

They are now taking part in regular competitions as many clubs have re-introduced the age group to their mini setups, but the best is yet to come.

The boys have been asked to play an exhibition match against Ballynahinch during the half time break at Ravenhill during the upcoming match between Ulster and Ospreys.

It will be a great chance for the young players to run out onto the turf at the home of Ulster Rugby.

The Mini Section is holding its annual beach walk and barbecue at Portstewart Strand on Sunday, April 5 at 2.00pm.

The sponsored walk will raise funds for the section and afterwards there will be games and a barbeque for everyone taking part..

Full details of the event are on the Mini Rugby web site, www.coleraineminirugby.co.uk
