Portrush parkrun dedicated their weekly parkrun on January 26th to Una Finnegan and her family.
As a registered parkrunner Una’s home parkrun was Edinburgh, but their run director doesn’t believe that she ran there. She ran at Portrush’s eighth and seventeenth parkrun when she returned home to see her friends and family.
There were 54 parkrunners who all ran with Una and her family firmly in their thoughts.
One of the organisers saud: “It is such a sad loss of life, at such a young age and with so much ahead of her. From all at Portrush parkrun and the larger parkrun family, we would like to express our sincerest condolences to the Finnegan family. Your life is now on a very different path.”
