4G boost for Dervock welcomed by campaigners

Campaigners have welcomed the news that Dervock is to receive 4G coverage.

Frankie Cunningham, chairperson Dervock & District Community Association, said: “We as a community were losing out – because we couldn’t advertise/promote; nor provide the same service (mobile & broadband coverage) that might encourage potential small businesses to start up in the village.

“I must thank Alderman Sharon McKillop, Robin Swann MLA, Mervyn Storey MLA, Steven Phillips (Benvarden Community Association) and also the community of Dervock – who have signed petitions – and whom as stated previously showed resilience in raising the issue on numerous occasions.
