Bienvenue à Moores!

Five French students from Sélestat, France are completing a month long work placement with independent retail group Ulster Stores Ltd as part of their education.

The students - Johann Weiller, Halil Cekil, Charline Rohr, Orlane Geimer and Omaima Jabir are working in department stores Moores of Coleraine and the White House Portrush during the month of May.

This year the students are working in various departments throughout the stores including the Moores beauty hall and womenswear.

Speaking of the exchange, Store Director for Ulster Stores Simon Colquhoun said “This is our sixth year taking part in this exchange programme and once again we are delighted to welcome the students to our stores.

“It is a great programme for both the students and the store; the students benefit from the opportunity to develop their spoken English whilst our staff enjoy working with the students and developing new skills together.”

The five students will finish their placement on Friday 27th May.

Over the last six years Ulster Stores Ltd has provided a total of thirty international students with placements as part of the programme.
