Great line up as '˜Walled City Tattoo' returns

Acts from across the UK will come together to perform in the Millennium Forum in May for the Walled City Tattoo, and we have tickets up for grabs!
Stickstoff have been announced as the headline act for the return of the Walled City Tattoo 2016. The Tattoo returns to the Maiden City in concert on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May at the Millennium Forum with a huge cast and ambitious set which includes dancers, pipers, drummers , choirs and Britians Got Talent finalists Old Men Grooving. This is the first time the Tattoo will be ‘in concert’ and guests can expect to be wowed by favourites such as the Massed Pipes and Drums and The Walled City Tattoo Highland and Irish Dancers, as well as some exciting new additions.

Britain’s Got Talent finalists ‘Old Men Grooving’ will also be making an appearance during the show.

‘Stickstoff’ (pictured) have been announced as the headline act for the return of the Walled City Tattoo. Based in Switzerland, ‘Stickstoff’ provide a unique style of drumming, linking traditional and freestyle - known as street drumming.

Tattoo Chairman, James Kee said: “This event was one of the highlight events during the 2013 City of Culture Year, by returning to the stage we’re emphasising our belief that we can play a key role in creating a legacy from that year, which we can all be proud of. I’d like to take the opportunity to thank DCAL and Derry City and Strabane District Council as our two main funders who have made this event possible.
