New season of McAfee Auctions

Mc Afee Auctions - having just finished up with their very busy sale last Thursday night - are now finalising the catalogue for their first Ballymoney sale of the new season which takes place on Thursday, September 8th.

Again it is a ‘full house’, says Gerry Mc Afee ,with approximately 800 lots, from bookcases to display cabinets, double ended couches to nice chests of drawers and longcase clocks to barometers, there really is something for everyone.

A good collection of smalls and collectibles include collections of Waterford and other crystal, a large collection of royal Doulton figurines, a good number of Hummell figurines, lots of Beswick, ruby, brass, copper, Limoges, Beatrix Potter figurines, stamps, coins, nice pieces of silver and a selection of very nice gold rings.

There is also a good selection of clocks, longcase wall and mantle, paintings, modern furnishings including aercol, stag and other nice furnishings, smaller furnishings and some outside lots.

Viewing for the sale commences on Tuesday and Wednesday 6th and 7th September from 3-5pm and 7pm-8.30pm and on the day of sale Thursday 8th. September from 3.30 until start of sale at 6.30pm.

Good quality furnishings and collectibles are now being sought for our next Fine Furnishing Sales both in Loughgall and Ballymoney and in particular pieces of silverware, and jewellery where demand at the present is very high. Catalogues will shortly be online and further details of this sale will be advertised here next week.
