Charlie Cole from Broughgammon Farm, Ballycastle was the guest speaker at the October meeting of Portrush WI.
He gave insight into the rearing and preparation of goats, venison, rose veal, duck, etc for various town markets and their farm shop at Broughgammon. The farm also processes seaweed, harvested from the north coast, now very popular on restaurant menus. Everyone enjoyed his talk, evidenced by the number of questions from the ladies, and was thanked by Jean Auld who wished him and his family good fortune for the future. A
