Coleraine stylist Cindy McKendry is promising a feast of fashion at the first ever show in Barry’s Portrush later this year.

“There will be couture designers displaying on the night and we are very pleased to welcome Claire Garvery from Dublin. Claire is a fantastic and unique designer and she is going to showcase her autumn/winter collection. We also have Shauna Fay, Grainne Maher and Gordon Donaldson on board. Paul Stafford and his team will be doing the hair and five fantastic makeup artists, some who are local girls too, who are award winning and have also worked to top TV series and films.

“It’s going to be very different and the mood of the show and the people in it will make it quite spectacular.

“We are putting together a massive show which requires everything from lights to music and there’s so much involved,” explained Cindy.

However. I want every penny of the money raised from the ticket sales to be split eually between the charities so getting support and sponsorship is vital. Barry’s will be transformed on the night to a fashion theatre.”
