Burns celebrated in Ballywillan with a traditional supper

A warm welcome awaits everyone to Ballywillan Orange Hall on Thursday 23rd January to enjoy the celebration in remembering the great bard Robert Burns.

A glass of non-alaholic mulled wine will be served to all on being seated, then the traditional piping in of the ‘Haggis’, that mysterious beast of Scottish folklore.

A full meal of ‘Tatties’, ‘Neeps’ and Haggis will be served piping hot for the waiting crowd, followed by Apple Tart and Cream, tea or coffee to finish off the meal.

All the usual toasts will follow before the evening continues with some Scottish music by accordion, drums and highland bagpipes, interspersed with poems and stories in what’s sure to be a memorable evening.

Admission is by ticket only because of space and demand.
