Pinetrees Bed and Breakfast in Ballymoney is the best-rated hotel in Northern Ireland, according to the results of trivago’s inaugural Top Hotel Awards.
Trivago’s inaugural Top Hotel Awards use aggregated online user ratings to recognise the highest-rated hotels, both nationally and regionally.
The awards are based on an index which aggregates 190 million ratings from over 30 websites. An algorithm is used to create an impartial score, whether a hotel has 400 or 4000 reviews. This results in a real mix of accommodation in the top 20, with luxury hotels standing alongside family-run B&Bs.
Elaine Buller, owner, Pinetrees Bed & Breakfast said: “I am delighted that Pinetrees B&B Ballymoney, has been awarded first place in Northern Ireland 2015 by trivago.
“This has only been possible by guests taking time to review Pinetrees and I appreciate their input. The guests make every day enjoyable and I look forward to 2016.”
With a rating of 95.09, Pinetrees Bed & Breakfast in Ballymoney is the best-rated hotel in Northern Ireland and 35th best in the UK.
In second place is The Gregory in Belfast, with a rating of 93.07.
Third place goes to Rose Park House in Derry-Londonderry, with a rating of 92.80. Pinetrees is the only accommodation provider in Northern Ireland to make the top 50 hotels in the UK this year.
