FIVE Christmas Day babies were born at the Causeway Hospital.
A spokesperson for the Trust confirmed the figure last week.
Last year only one baby was born on Christmas Day.
This year three boys and two girls were delivered by maternity staff at Causeway.
The first was born at 2.35am.
By 11am on Boxing Day, the babies and their mothers had all left the hospital to enjoy the remainder of the Christmas holidays in their own homes.
Across Northern Ireland Santa made made 43 special deliveries, including a set of twins at Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.
