Coleraine Church to open its doors on Christmas Day

ACCORDING to recent research almost half of UK parents are already having sleepless nights due to money worries as Christmas looms.

Many of us are planning a more frugal Christmas this year, intending to cut down on festive food and gifts, and 30% of us are even cutting down on visiting relatives for fnancial reasons - but some will still struggle to have a Happy Christmas.

This is why Causeway Coast Vineyard - a Christian church that meets every Sunday in Coleraine - is opening its doors to invite the local community to lunch this Christmas Day.

Guests will be served a five-course Christmas dinner at The Sandel Centre, Knocklynn Road, Coleraine on Christmas Day from 11.30am – 2.00pm.

Transport is available for those who need it. All are welcome, and as well as a delicious five-course Christmas dinner there will also be entertainment and a few surprises too. All ages and families welcome. No cost involved.

To join us on Christmas Day please register before December

15 by calling the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church offce on

Over the past 18 months a team of over 100 volunteers has had the privilege of running a Food Giveaway every Sunday with support from many local businesses. Over 490 households in need have been helped so far, with up to 70 people attending on Sundays.

Ricky Wright of Causeway Coast Vineyard said; "Christmas can so easily be full of pressure and upset but this year we're absolutely delighted to be able to throw open our doors to share this very special day with

the local community. We're sure it's going to be a very special

day for all involved. Please join us!"

Causeway Coast Vineyard meets each Sunday in the old Dunnes
