Fancy a “Showstopping” night of the best of musical theatre and silver band music AND helping raise money for the Smiles Foundation Romania charity?

Then, get your tickets now for the Showstoppers 2014 concert in Coleraine High School on Thursday, November 20.

The Londonderry Musical Society and the Britannia Concert Band under their respective MDs Jim Goodman and Noel Barr have come up with yet another exciting programme which features the best of Musical Theatre, ever popular instrumental favourites and a variety of soloists and ensembles of the highest quality.

This year the fast moving extravaganza will include music from Sister Act, Hairspray (performed by the youth section of the LMS) and to please the young and not so young, the hit song “ Let it Go” from the new Walt Disney film “Frozen”, Adele’s Skyfall and much more.

Smiles Foundation Romania is a Christian charity working in North West Romania supporting families, children and elderly, homeless and abused, providing education and sharing love through a practical

ministry of meeting basic daily needs.

Barbara Morrison of Smiles said: “We need a great response from this evening in Coleraine, all the support will reach the people we are helping in Romania. There will be a brief presentation on the evening to hear more of the work.”
