THE Community Development Team at Coleraine Borough Council is launching this year’s Community Endeavour Awards to be organised and hosted by Council.
The awards aim to give special recognition to the many organisations and people who selflessly give up their free time and energy for the betterment of their local community.
Mayor of Coleraine Borough Council, Alderman Maurice Bradley, said: “There are so many committed voluntary and community organisations and individuals in the Borough who play a vital role in our community. The Community Endeavour Awards are our chance to recognise and reward all their hard work and dedication.”
Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s awards include group categories for Community Development, Good Relations, District Policing Partnership & Community Safety, and Health and Well Being. The closing date for applications is Thursday, February 23 at 4.00pm.
