A man charged with the murder of Coleraine woman, Marion Millican, has been further remanded in custody.

Mrs Millican (51), a mother and a grandmother, was shot dead at her workplace at a launderette on the Promenade in Portstewart on March 11.

On Monday, her former partner, Fred McClenaghan (48) of Broad Street in Magherafelt, appeared in court via video link from Maghaberry Prison.

Wearing a blue tracksuit top, McClenaghan only spoke to say he could see and hear the court.

A representative for the Public Prosecution Service told the court that a full file was still outstanding and adjourned the case for two weeks.

McClenaghan will appear before the court again via video link on Monday, April 18.
