Police probe criminal damage to church grounds

Police are appealing for information following the report of criminal damage to grounds of a church in the Loughan Road area of Coleraine.

At approximately 10.55am on Monday, August 11, police received a report that a number of trees had been cut down in the grounds of a church.

PSNI Constable Magda Pekrzyk said: “Police would ask anyone who may have witnssed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Coleraine on the non emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
