Firefighters from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) Northern Area Command were involved in a road traffic collision demonstration and interactive exhibition at Coleraine Fire Station on Monday night.

The event highlighted the dangers of reckless driving for the start of Road Safety Week which runs until November 27.

Members of the Coleraine Young Farmers Club were involved in the demonstration and were able to ask both Firefighters and local police officers questions about road safety.

As well as taking part in the Driving simulator and seeing the PSNI’s 2fast2soon car, members of the Coleraine Young Farmers Club were able to gain an insight into dealing with the aftermath of a road traffic collision.
