Action to tackle dog fouling on Ballymoney’s Semicock Road has been welcomed by Councillor Alan McLean.
The DUP representative was commenting after raising the problem with Causeway Coast and Glens Council
Mr McLean said: “Following numerous complaints from residents in the Semicock Road about the increase in dog fouling over recent times, I sought to work with the council to have this issue addressed.
“I’m pleased that council have not only agreed to clean the current mess but have committed to installing a full time dog bin. Of course, this will require enforcement from council and cooperation from dog owners.
“I will continue to monitor this situation with the local residents over the coming weeks.”
