Once again artists will descend upon Bushmills for the annual Art and Photographic Exhibition hosted by Dunluce Parish Church.
Last year wasthe church’s most successful exhibition to date and it’s hoped that the public will once again come out in numbers to support the event which takes place in Dunluce Parish Centre from Friday, May 1 to Monday, May 4.
A wide range of local talent will be on show and work displayed will include land and seascapes, portraits, and a selection of still lifes to name but a few.
The organisers are confident that this exhibition will encourage visitors to stop in Bushmills, thus enhancing their visit to the spectacular Causeway Coast.
All the paintings in the exhibition can be purchased and this is an ideal platform for local amateur and professional artists to showcase their work to the wider community.
And the organisers say that art lovers will not be disappointed with the quality of work on display.
The viewing public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite exhibit and a prize will be awarded to the most popular artist.
The organisers added: “Once again we have the added bonus on Saturday, May 2 of a craft display which includes wood, jewellery and ceramic items.
“A painting by a local artist will be raffled on the final day and the proceeds from the exhibition will go towards the Yei Diocese in Southern Sudan and Christian Aid.
“We look forward to seeing everyone at the exhibition which shouldn’t be missed.”
The exhibition will be open over the entire Bank Holiday weekend.
