THE Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show will celebrate its 10-year anniversary this month, showcasing a fantastic variety of tractors and crafts, with a charity auction in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The popular event, which takes place at the Magherabuoy House Hotel in Portrush on Friday, November 27, runs from 2pm until 10pm and is suitable for all ages.
Organised by National Minitrac in Portrush, visitors can expect trade stands from all the best known brands, including Britains and Bruder Tractors, as well as Universal Hobbies, Ros, Siku, Marge Models and more.
The hand-finished muddy show tractors from National Minitrac are always a highlight of this exciting event, and 50 limited edition Massey Ferguson 8737 Show Tractors have been created to mark the 10th anniversary.
Sure to be collectible items, the tractors are based on a Universal Hobbies model and have been expertly prepared by Muddyfarm Models to give an authentic muddied look.
Meanwhile, farmyard playsets from Millwood Crafts will also be available, as well as pedal tractors, crafts, knitted goods, The Grassmen DVDs, books and much more.
It’s therefore the perfect opportunity to pick up a gift or two for Christmas, as well as encouraging a shared interest in the agricultural world with the kids.
There’s also an auction for a limited edition show tractor, and a raffle with the top prize of a return Stena Line crossing for a car and two adults. All proceeds from these will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
With nothing else like it in the area, the Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show is a unique agricultural show which appeals to both young and old alike.
Offering fun for all the family, there’s a dedicated play zone for the kids, while adults can view everything from solar panels and machinery, to drones and giftware. The Farm Families Health Checks van will also be onsite, offering free health checks. Whether you’re present-buying, socialising or simply there for the great atmosphere, the Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show is an event not to be missed!
