COLERAINE Hospice Group’s recent fashion show in Logan’s Fashions, Cloughmills was a massive success raising £1,700.
The audience were very impressed with the clothes that were shown, especially the new fashion houses introduced recently by Logan’s and the display by the models of the versatile new Spring outfits.
After the show the audience were treated to a candle-lit supper of wine and canapes, which were kindly supplied by Mr Ivor Boyd in the restaurant. Mr Boyd and his staff were thanked for their co-operation and generosity and the audience were praised for their support.
Organisers told the audience that £2,500 per year was required to maintain the Hospice home-nursing service for patients with terminal illnesses in this district. The Figure needed includes the new specialist nursing service introduced for children with life-threatening illnesses.
The next meeting of Coleraine Hopsice Group will be the AGM, which will be held on April 16th in Coleraine Scout Hall, at The Crescent at 10.30am. Everyone welcome.
