Following the usual AGM business, there was the official launch of the exterior and interior painting of the building. This was a partnership project between Focus on Family and Probation Board NI with special appreciation going to Johnstone’s Paint, Coleraine who supplied the materials for the works.
Guest speaker Julie Smyth, Probation Board, was also joined by Elaine Donnelly, Manager of Coleraine SureStart Partnership, who spoke about the on-going childcare provision delivered at the centre in partnership with SureStart.
Also speaking were Raymond Craig, North West Regional College, who spoke about adult education and the on-going joint-work between Focus on Family and the NWRC and Fergal Barr who officially launched the evaluation report into the work of the centre over the last five years.
The staff and volunteers at the centre would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who came along on the day and would hope to see many more people using the centre in the months to come.
