Hand bag theft in Portrush

Police are investigating the theft of a handbag from a car park parked at West Strand car park on the morning of Thursday, July 17.

The owner of the car parked up at around 9:30am that morning and returned at 11am to find the drivers side front window smashed and a handbag taken from the rear footwell.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed suspicious activity around the car park is asked to call north coast police on the non-emergency number 101.
