AGE Concern Causeway’s (ACC) lunch club is proving to be a real treat for ACC members.

Last week’s lunch was a great success and members are greatly looking forward to meeting up again.

Members enjoyed a three course meal of sausage casserole with mashed potato, rice pudding and tea/coffee prepared by two fabulous lunch ladies, Annette and Nicky. Club member Joyce Cunning, says the club has “plenty to eat and is well attended by an excellent cook and helpers”.

Age Concern Causeway is delighted to be able to offer the lunch club to members at just £3 per session due to the funding it has received from The Big Lottery to deliver the Active Age Programme. The next lunch club will be held at the West Bann Development Centre, on Wednesday, May 29 from 1-2pm. from 1 til 2pm. On the same day, from 11.30am to 12.30pm ACC will hold a Zumba Gold class at a cost of £2 per member and a Reminiscence talk from 2 til 4pm at a cost of £1 per person (tea/coffee included).

If you are over the age of 55, or know someone who is, and are interested in attending the lunch club or activities please contact Steve on 02870357966. Membership is free and there is a small surcharge for each activity participated
