Marking 20 years of Focus on Family

Focus on Family is inviting you along to their AGM and celebration evening.

The charity, based in Ballysally are celebrating 20 years of service to the local community/

The AGM will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 11am to 2pm at Glenurn Crescent, Ballysally.

After the usual Director’s business, the organisation will look back at their past twenty years.

Faces from past and present will be there to tell of stories and activities.

Brendan Patterson, Project Manager tells: “This is a great opportunity for our existing network of friends to lend ongoing support for our organisation and also for new people to come and visit to find out more about the vast range of activities, programmes and events that we have on offer throughout the year.”

Focus on Family is Northern Ireland’s first ever Nurturing and Development Centre. Their Ballysally base houses a dedicated childcare facility, training room, IT suite, launderette, kitchens, social area and staff offices.

In addition to the community space provided, Focus on Family also offers a family links Programmes, domestic abuse programmes, skills-based courses such as Essential Skills, IT, cookery and creative writing, they also offer a range of complementary therapies.

The centre aims to address and positively develop a whole host of emotional, behavioural, social and external factors that impact negatively on their users.
