The Mid Ulster Branch of the Health and Social Care Retirement Fellowship were invited along by the Causeway Branch. The group were addressed by Mrs Kathleen Presha Chairman who gave a reading of a poem called Cake of Friendship.

The Rita Thompson Cup was on show as the Causeway Branch retained it for having the most new members.

Tea was served in the restaurant of the building and a temping range of deserts and sandwiches were available. This social afternoon gave members an opportunity to mingle and chat with their guests.

After the tea was finished Mrs Heather Taylor of Magherfelt and Cookstown gave thanks to the Causeway Branch for the invite to the delightful event which everyone enjoyed.

Mrs Kathleen Presha Chairman of the Causeway Branch then thanked the visitors for coming and also thanked the staff who served and prepared the tea.
