Musical treat as choirs join forces for charity concert

‘Let’s Sing Gospel’ choir will be joined by Barazina Youth choirs to perform two concerts.

The ‘Let’s Sing Gospel’ choir is drawn from across the North Coast, with over 100 voices, the well known choir sings a mixture of Black Gospel and modern worship.

Barazina Youth Choir was formed two and a half years ago. Choir members are aged between seven and 14 and are from more than 30 schools within the North Coast area.

Barazina means ‘Creative Abundance’ and these young people are bursting with talent, energy and creativity.

Both choirs will perform at First Presbyterian Church in Coleraine on Friday, January 24, and at Portstewart Baptist Church on Saturday February 1.

Barazina’s mini choir will be singing in Coleraine whilst, the youth choir will be singing at the Portstewart concert.

The charities benefiting from the concerts are CHEERS Youth Centre in Ballymoney and Scripture Union, who work mainly with young people in schools across the across the triangle area.

Tickets for each of the concernts are available from RH Gaults, Church Street Ballymoney, Faith Mission Bookshop and Causeway School of Music both in Railway Road, Coleraine.
