PSNI North Coast are appealing to the public to leave wildlife alone.

It follows an incident today involving seals on one of the beaches in the area.

According to the police, a scared baby seal was “surrounded” by humans taking photos which prevented its mother getting to feed it.

Warning the public of the possibility of being bitten, police added “please leave the wildlife alone, they aren’t there for you to get selfies with them”.
