A Portrush hotel, which was recently placed into administration, has reported strong bookings for the summer season.
Established in February 2001, the Ramada Portrush is one of Northern Ireland’s best-known hotels.
The 69-bedroom hotel has won multiple awards including a Gold Guest Satisfaction Award for EMEA with Wyndham Hotel Group.
Ann Donaghy, general man ager of the Ramada Hotel explained that it is business of usual at the Main Street Hotel: “It’s been a challenging time for our business, but the support of our staff and customers allied with the commitment to the hotel shown by the joint administrators has ensured that the Ramada Portrush continues to trade as usual across all business areas.
“Over 40 per cent of our customers are returning visitors, demonstrating the lasting appeal that Ramada Portrush has for local and international guests.”
Joint Administrator Gregg Sterritt added: ““The business has continued to trade as normal with operations fully maintained and all bookings honoured which is in line with the commitment we gave at the outset of this process.”
