Following the success of Cinderella in January, Portrush Theatre Company are delighted to announce Dick Whittington as their pantomime for 2017.
The panto will be returning once again to Portrush Town Hall for seven shows from 13th-14th and 18th-21st January, which will include a sensory show on January 18th.
This rags to riches story follows a young man as he travels to London to seek his fortune. Things are never easy though as the evil King Rat is determined to take over the city and tries to stop Dick on his road to success. Complete with fairies, a cat and of course the classic panto dame, this is a story for all the family to enjoy.
Auditions for the main cast will take place in Millstrand Integrated Primary School, Portrush on Tuesday, June 21 at 6.30pm with auditions for the children’s chorus being held on Monday, September 5.
