Robbery in Ballybogey Road area

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in the Ballybogey Road area of Ballymoney during the early hours of yesterday morning, Thursday 19 November.

It was reported that around 2am a man was sitting in his van when he was approached by a number of unknown males. They dragged the man out of the van before making off with a bag, containing his wallet and bank cards. The man suffered cuts to his face as a result of the incident.

Constable Evans is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident who has any information to contact officers in Coleraine Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
