Sinn Féin councillor Ciaran Archibald has condemned an attack on an ambulance crew in Coleraine.
Councillor Archibald said: “It is a disgrace that the emergency services treating an assault victim were subject to attack and intimidation.
“The men and women of the emergency services are very often responsible for saving lives in our communities and should be treated with the utmost respect and deference.
“Furthermore, the damage to the ambulance is entirely unacceptable, it puts lives at risk having an emergency vehicle off the road for repair. The people responsible are to be condemned and need to be held accountable for thier actions.”
