THE 2012 marching season will begin locally on Saturday 28th April with the Silver Plains Flute band parade in Armoy.

The Moyarget based band travel all over the country in support of other bands and they are hoping to see their old friiends from Co Londonderry, Co. Antrim and Co. Armagh as well as Tyrone who have regularly supported the event in the past.

There will be a disco afterwards in Rook’s Nest. There will also be stalls, ice cream and fast food vans at the parade.

There will be Lambegs before the parade outside at the Rook’s Nest.
