Take on a new creative skill this autumn Flowerfield

WITH the dazzling summer not far behind us, it’s hard to believe that the autumn evenings are not far away – and what better time to pass the shortening evenings than taking on a new creative skill – or brushing up on an old one?

The fees are reasonable, the surroundings are beautiful, and the classes are arranged mornings, afternoons and evenings, so there should be something to suit every timetable.

To see the full list of classes, visit the Flowerfield website at www.flowerfield.org and click on the Classes section.

The children’s classes are also back, with the popular Saturday morning Splish Splosh (for 3-4 year olds) and Arbox (for 5-12 year olds) starting again on Saturday September 20 and running for a five week block.

You can also take a look at the new Flowerfield brochure, which has just been published and has all of the details.

Copies have been distributed throughout the area, but if you’re passing Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart, they’re available at reception.

Give the reception staff a call on (028) 7083 1400 for details of the incoming term, or to request a copy of the brochure.

Please note that demand has been very high for some of the classes, and you may find that some of them have already been fully booked - the centre can add your name to a reserve list, and if more places become available, we will let you know.

Flowefield cannot, however, hold places for students without a payment. Credit card payments and bookings can be taken on (028) 7083 1400. If the classes don’t attract enough enrolments, they will not run, and payments will be refunded. Flowerfield will make a decision on the viability of each of the classes in the weeks leading up to the start of term, so the sooner you enrol, the better the chance your class will go ahead.
