ATHLETICS: Kennedy Kane McArthur Festival

The organisers of the Kennedy Kane McArthur Festival of Running have extended the closing date for entries into the event.

Online entries will now close at 12.00 noon on Monday, July 16 and postal entries on Wednesday, July 11.

Assistant Race Director Kenny Bacon said: “We have a lot of entries come in the past week and had enquires from runners looking to run the marathon after a marathon on the same day was cancelled.’

There are almost 370 competitors registered in the three races this includes 12 entries Tlokwe City Council, Potchefstroom, South Africa who will be running the 10K in 1912 style kit.
