Louise McFarlane is general secretary, Colin Scott is league secretary and Graham Wallace is the treasurer. Uel Campbell has been elected as the new president.

The committee would like to pay tribute to their esteemed past president Mr William King who served the committee faithfully for many years despite his many other commitments in the community particularly in his role as councillor. The members of committee will always be pleased to welcome him in his role as honorary vice president.

Following on from last year’s success the league hopes to run along similar lines this year. There will be Junior, Minor A and Minor B mixed leagues consisting of two ladies and two men in each team with two level doubles and four mixed doubles games being played in each match.

The Minor men’s league will consist of six men with a maximum of two Minor A men in a team. If any club in the area would like to play competitive badminton please contact John Ferris on 02870848612 or Colin Scott on 07775878493.

Entries close on October 5.
