COLERAINE continue their unbeaten start to pre-season with a 3-0 win over Limavady United on Tuesday night.

The Bannsiders went into the game without recent signings Gary Browne and Wayne Drummond but comfortably saw off the Roesiders.

Shane Jennings put them one up early on as he coolly dispatched from the spot after Gareth Tommons had been brought down. Oran Kearney’s side suffered a blow shortly after though as Howard Beverland had to be replaced after he picked up a bad gash to the head following a collision.

The visitors extended their advantage at the start of the second half as Tommons headed home from close range after great work from Ryan McIlmoyle on the left.

It was three soon after as Ruairi Harkin’s corner was deflected home by a home defender.

Coleraine’s pre-season plans continue this Saturday when they travel to take on Institute at the Riverside Stadium, kick-off 3pm
