Neil McCafferty is the latest Coleraine player to agree a contract extension with the club.
The 30-year-old has signed a one-year extension to his current deal, which will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2017.
McCafferty has played a key role for the Showgrounds outfit since joining from Portadown in June.
He has scored 12 goals including several spectacular free kicks, and boss Oran Kearney is delighted to have tied him down to the club.
“Neil has been excellent for us this season,” said Kearney.
“Not only has he scored some fantastic goals for us but his all round play has been first class.
“Neil has also been a massive influence on and off the pitch.
“He is very happy here and the direction we are going. It is a massive boost for us that he sees his future here.”
