First XI Coach, Peter Semple said: “The tournament provides the girls with opportunity to play against different styles of hockey, in a different environment. There is nothing quite like a tournament atmosphere and for many of the girls it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Captain Jessica Moore said: “Alex Halliday and I are just back from the Interprovincials with Ulster where we came second. Hopefully this gives us a chance to go one better!
“For us in Upper Sixth it’s a great opportunity in our final year and for the younger players it’s hopefully a way to inspire them for the future.”
