This week saw the start of the play-offs for both the rinks and triples in the North West League’s Championships.
On Monday night the rinks took place in Ballybrakes Indoor Stadium. After a late night’s bowling it was Loughanreagh and Ballinrees who won through to the finals. The Loughnreagh team was Uel Brewster, David Reilly, Gary O’Kane and Alan Irwin. Ballinrees was represented by Liz Calvin, Norman Brewster, Russell Kennedy and William Calvin.
On Tuesday night Dunluce Parish hosted the triples. Again some great play was witnessed by the many spectators and the players going through to the finals are, James McKee, Gareth Steele and Ian Ross (Loughanreagh) and Amy Hunter Jacqueline Jones and Mark Jones (Finvoy Presbyterian).
Thanks to both Ballybrakes Stadium and Dunluce Parish for the use of their premises for the play-offs.
