WATCH: Kids choose their favourite Morelli's ice cream

The panelists visited a Morelli’s store and using their tiny taste buds, took on the very important job of sampling seven new flavours of ice cream and giving their verdict. Taking this new approach of testing proved to be a success as all the children left with smiles on their faces and and a big thumbs up.

Each year Morelli’s adds new flavours to its mouthwatering range of ice creams and this year there are five including Lemon Meringue Pie and Raspberry Pavlova, plus two summer limited edition flavours.

Mini Morelli’s Moderator Leo Morris (6) who tried the new Banoffee flavour said “It taste so yummy and banana-y, just like my gran’s banoffee pie. I love this flavour,” giving it top marks at two thousand out of ten.

Daniela Morelli, Sales and Marketing Manager for the family-owned business, said: “There’s nobody better to tell the people of Northern Ireland how delicious our new flavours are than the little people who get so much joy from eating it. We are delighted to be launch our new flavours for this year and even happier that the panelists agree with how tasty they are.”

The full list of new flavours are Banoffee, Naughtyella (Nutella), Lemon Meringue Pie, Raspberry Pavlova, Whiskey & Honey, Pistachio Ripple (limited edition) and Peach Frozen Yogurt (limited edition).
