Coleraine station is to be closed to members of the public from 7pm.

Commenting on the issue, a Translink spokesperson said: “Due to anti-social behaviour, we have taken the decision to close Coleraine station to members of the public from 7pm, except for passengers using our bus and rail services.

“The safety of our passengers and staff is our number one priority and due to this unacceptable anti-social behaviour we were left with no option but to close the station to ensure the safety of members of the public and our staff. Passengers using our bus and rail services can use the station as normal.

“We are working closely with the PSNI to tackle anti-social behaviour.”
