Redpath welcomes dog bin
Local Ulster Unionist Councillor Alexander Redpath has welcomed a new dog bin at Lagan Tow Path which will be located next to the Wallace car park.
“Hundreds of local people use the Lagan Tow Path on a regular basis,” he said. “Many of these users are dog owners exercising their pets. A number of constituents have approached me asking for a bin to be placed at this site to allow them to responsibly dispose of dog waste.
“This announcement comes shortly after the placement of another dog bin in Culcavy. I would like to thank Lisburn City Council’s technical services team for their help with this issue.”
